Products I Regret Buying!

Products I Regret Buying

I've had so much going on lately, that I've barely had anytime to sit down and do a blog post let alone take any pictures for the posts. But today I'm managing to get a post written....and hopefully a few scheduled whilst I'm at the iMac!

So for today's post I'm gonna do a "products I regret buying", It's all mainly skincare products for this post, but I'm sure there will plenty of other post's like this to come in the future aswell!

Biore - Baking Soda Pore Cleanser
After reading so many good reviews about this product, I knew I wanted to try it and had to look in about 4 different Boots stores before I actually found it. I loved how clean it made my face felt after I used it before I went to bed, but when I woke up the next morning I was seriously not impressed! My chin area had flared up and was really red and sore, and the skin on my chin was starting to peel off in parts...I couldn't even touch my chin without it stinging. I stopped using the product after that and it took about 2 weeks for my chin to return to normal.

Bourjois - Happy Light Serum Primer
This was the first ever primer I had tried before, and you can read what I thought about it in full here Bourjois Happy Light Serum Primer, I paid £13.00 for this and it's definitely not one I will be purchasing again as it did not agree with my skin at all!

Skinetica
I first heard about this brand over on Twitter and was really interested to find out more about it, this is a 3-in-1 product so it's a  anti-blemish, super toner, and a make up base all in one. I wouldn't say I majorly dislike this product, I just think there are other products out there that are just like this and are cheaper than this aswell. I used half of the bottle before giving it to my sister as I was just gonna throw it out otherwise.

Proactiv + -
Skin Smoothing Exfoliator,
Complexion Perfecting Hydrator,
Skin Purifying Mask
Repairing Concealer

Do you ever sit there watching the TV and an advert for Proavtiv + comes on, about how this product is sure to give you clearer and nicer looking skin.....I'm talking about the one where Georgie Porter is doing the advertising for them! Well yes, I fell for everything that was said on that advert and headed straight onto the Proactiv website and purchased the above 3 products (the repairing concealer was free). Half way through using the products in the order it said and following the instructions, my skin broke out really bad in fact the worse it had been in years. There's nothing really else I can say about these products other than the fact I hate them!

If there's one thing I've learnt is never trust a brand that has an actress advertising there products as I personally think it is false advertising as lets be honest the actor/actress is getting paid to say all good things, so of course they ain't gonna say the product is rubbish lol.
