This month's Glossybox was all about everything Halloween, and they had 2 boxes available to send out when dispatch day arrived. There was a "Treat" box aswell as a "Trick" box, I was secretly hoping that I got the Treat box and luckily that is the one that arrived at my door a few days after I got the dispatch email.
I was really impressed with the box this month and even though I don't think I will use the lipstick as it just isn't my color at all, everything else I will definitely get some use out of at some point. So let's get into what was in the "Treat" box this month.
Luna By Luna Cosmetics - Translucent Powder
This is just a basic translucent setting powder in this month's box, it says it "soaks up excess oil while softening fine lines and hiding pores" which already sells it to me as my skin can feel a bit oily at times which isn't good for me haha. I'm currently in the middle of using one that I already have open, so I think I will save this one for when I next need a new one to try.MUA MakeUp Academy - Luxe Set & Reflect Finishing Kit
This is a 2-in-1 product which is both vegan-friendly and also cruelty-free aswell, the top section is a gorgeous highlighter in a subtle gold color and looks gorgeous. It says to add the highlighter part to cheekbones, the bridge of your nose aswell as your cupids bow. The highlighter then lifts up to reveal a white invisible powder to help mattify your t-zone area, and for just £5 for this product, I think that's quite a bargain!Sleek Makeup - Eyeshadow Palette: Oh So Special
Ooh, another eyeshadow palette from the brand Sleek Makeup, this is the second one of these I have received in Glossybox and I actually don't mind as it is a palette of different colours to the last one I got (you can see that here). The only thing I ain't really a fan of is the brush that comes with these, but I'm pretty sure no-one likes those brushes and prefers to use other brushes. The colours in this palette are gorgeous though, and I am gonna look up some Halloween ideas and see what I can come up with. This Works - In Transit Camera Close-Up
I have been wanting to try this product for soo long now it's unreal, but I have just never got around to purchasing it myself (let's face it, I can't afford the £35 quid for it haha). It's the first product I tried out of the box this month, and I will admit I do love it and how it made my skin feel. I have days where my skin either feels dry or oily, I really can't win with my skin and using this has kept my skin feeling really soft and hydrated throughout the day.Illamasqua - Antimatter Lipstick: Nebula
Lastly in this month's box was this lipstick by the brand we all know well which is Illamasqua, I love how simple the packaging is on this but the colour of it just isn't me at all. I don't think I will use this at all but on the plus side (the photographer part of me) it will look nice in some flatlay photo's that I am planning on taking very soon!
