Quote of the day: "Happiness is a journey, not a destination"
So it's a Sunday and these days are never the most interesting for me, I find them rather boring...today particularly as I've had no motivation whatsoever. It was basically a "hair up and comfy clothes" type of day for me.
So I decided to go out into the garden with the dog and saw a couple of pure white roses up the back of the garden, so of course this was a picture opportunity for me as always. I always think that its the littlest of things that are the prettiest.
I managed to take this picture just after the rain had stopped and the sun was shining bright. I keep wanting to plant flowers in the 3 box parts that go up the stairs in our garden but have just never got round to doing it, I'm not a keen gardener lol but I do plan on making this my next project (heads over to Pinterest for inspiration).
So thats what my typical Sunday has been about this weekend, nothing that exciting.
But sometimes a lazy day is just what is needed.
How did you spend your weekend?
The rest of the day has been full of TV shows, mainly being "Catfish" and "Teen Mom" - many of which are repeats that I've probably seen god knows how many times before.
Have you ever sat down to watch a show, then got annoyed that it's one you've already seen? Or is that just me that it annoys big time.
I've also took this time to catch up on YouTube channels that I'm subscribed to, and watch countless amount of videos on there, and I've also had a chance to near enough catch up on my bloglovin' feed and have a read through some of the blogs I'm following on there.
Its nice to have one of those days where you can just take some time to catch up on a few things.......now just my personal email account to sort through, this is gonna take some time as i need to go through any junk emails and unsubscribe from them.
By now both my cats currently keep nudging themselves around my legs as i think they are wanting a bit of attention, my older cat Gizmo is usually very unsociable and it usually always outside. So when she wants to be cuddled and stroked, its usually best to give her the attention shes after!. With my other cat Milo (this is gizmos son) he is a proper attention seeker and would happily sit asleep cuddled up to ya all day, i think this is where i got him used to be held right from when he was born.
Then there's the dog Lana...shes a Chorkie (Chihuahua cross Yorkshire terrier) and she also loves a bit of attention, and will fit herself into the tiniest place next to you on the sofa just to be near you.
I will insert some pictures below of the animals (just so you can see how cute they are, I'm biased lol).
